A long time Browne fan - I remember hearing this almost 35 years ago. This is very good version. Kate Wolf version is great too. The nazi womans version meh.

I woke up one morning, and tuned in Don Imus's MSNBC show on the TV. He had Levon on, and after the set wrapped up, Don said, "If you don't do nothing else in your life, go get a ticket to Levon's Midnight Ramble, which is a concern and Jam Session held every Saturday night at Levon's Home and studio in Woodstock, NY. You'll always be glad you did." So I went right out, bought two tickets, and drove up there from Maryland to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my wife. It was one of the highlights of my musical life. Got to talk to Levon, shake his hand and thank him for all the joy he'd brought to my life. He was just the nicest man you can imagine. And Imus was right, I am still glad I did. ;-)

What a beautiful song this is,I remember hearing this song for the first time. I cried it has so much meaning. You can tell when Jackson singing it. I love every word of this song. Masterpiece never gets old.

As I look back on Jackson’s career , I have noticed that occasionally he sings in the style of "country western” , as in “A Peaceful Easy Feeling.” I think he learned that from Linda. Thank you Maxim Rouge . And by the way , Jackson did it much better than Bruce trying to sing like . . . I don’t know what. Jackson was always pure and authentic.
